Hello! Glad you found my little blog and I hope it brings you joy! I am a 50 something empty nester just getting to learn more and more about myself. The most important parts of me are those connected to family! I have a loving husband, beautiful daughter and two amazing Icelandic Sheepdogs.

As a single mom for many years, I read this quote in a book and made this promise to my then very young daughter. I decided that life experiences, traveling the world and exploring new cultures was an important thing to share with her. Through the years, we explored our wanderlust together…visiting amazing and beautiful places, both near and far. And now we’ve added to our family but we are still exploring.
I wanted to freeze the precious moments in this journey we were on. In doing so, I discovered another love, the love of photography. To capture and share the beauty this world has to offer is extremely rewarding. We’ve also learned a few tips and tricks along the way.
